Our playgroup met at Bothell Landing last week, and despite the distance from us, Eli and I have discovered a new favorite place to play. We started out on the play structure, where Eli was very excited to get to play on Noah's Ark! 
He saw this "boat" from the parking lot, and immediately said "want to play on the ark!" :) He also impressed me by going down a big slide all by himself. 
This is an achievement since, although Eli used to love any and every slide - no matter how big - he's been a little wary of them since taking a painful fall from a big one a few months ago. I'm really glad to see him enjoying them so much again. As usual, Eli had a great time on the swings, and his little buddy Simon had a blast swinging too. 
We also brought along our squashed hot dog buns from the scrapped camping trip, and Eli had a fantastic time feeding the ducks and geese.
It was all fun and games until one of the ducks got a little aggressive and decided that if Eli wasn't going to give him the bun, he was just going to take it. 
Fortunately Eli got over it quickly and went right back to work feeding the others. We had a lot of fun at this park, and we'll look forward to going again...especially since it's so close to Emily and Simon's house and we can visit good friends and a good park in one trip!
