Happy paws

Here's a little Halloween preview snapshot...Eli is very excited about his puppy costume! He loves to put on the paws and clap. Whenever he sees his costume hanging in the closet, he points and says "woof woof!" He's not really sure about the head part yet (it's just a hood with ears), but he sure loves the rest of it.

On the topic of paws...Zoe's doing pretty well. Today's her last day of pain medicine, and we've been going for short walks around the neighborhood. It sure has lifted her spirits to be able to get outside! So far, she seems to be doing well; we haven't noticed any sign of the limp returning.
